SOBRE LA CRÍTICA DE BOSTON, NY ONLINE Y LA

En MEJOR PELÍCULA The Descendants logra cobrar fuerza tras un mal comienzo de temporada, pero aún así nada parece detener a The Artist que vence en Boston y en la crítica Online de New York. Se asoman como runners-up contrincantes también al acecho como Hugo y The Tree of Life, y sorprende Margaret que cobra vida gracias a la crítica de Boston.

En MEJOR DIRECTOR esta totalmente divido y solo NY Online apoya The Artist mientras que LA y Boston premian a directores más reconocidos; Terrence Malick y Martin Scorsese respectivamente. En esta categoría Scorsese es el más fuerte de los 3 al ser el que más reconocimiento esta obteniendo. 

En MEJOR ACTOR Y ACTRIZ, LA nuevamente va por una actriz extranjera (Yun Jung-Hee "Poetry") mientras que Meryl y Michelle suman adeptos a su ya segura nominación al Oscar. Nuevamente ningún rastro de Gleen Close y su nominación pende de un hilo ante la falta de apoyo. Fassbender sorprende en la crítica de Los Angeles al igual que Michael Shannon en NY Online, pero si hay uno que su nominación es ya un hecho, es Brad Pitt por Moneyball que gana en Boston y es uno de los favoritos por el Oscar junto a Clooney que desaparece en esta jornada.

En MEJOR ACTORES DE REPARTO tenemos a Albert Brooks gana 2 premios y Plummer 1. En Mejor Actriz de Reparto Chastain vuelve a lucir pero como en premios anteriores no hay consenso sobre su actuación en una especifica película y la premian por todos sus papeles este año. Y quién sorprende no una vez sino que dos veces es Melissa McCarthy por Bridesmaids que obtuvo mucho amor este día al estar también en la lista de las 10 mejores películas de la AFI.
